A level II survey aims to 'preserve by record' the fabric of the building that was subject to significant repair and renovati on, and in so doing, provide a facility for recording the building's historic development. This Building Recording Survey report has been prepared at the request of the client to satisfy a condition imposed by the local authority in relation to a planning application for the : restoration of an existing farmhouse, the erection of a single - storey extension, and the re - use and adaptation of existing listed farm buildings within the property's curtilage. The farmhouse and associated structures are Grade II listed and currently in a state of some disrepair. In response to the planning application, the local authority required mitigation measures, including the undertaking of a building recording survey. This survey comprises a detailed photographic, documentary, and descriptive record of the existing building complex
