BGA applies to them the term ‘Ahura’, i.e., ‘Gott‘ 4 , and treats the words as proper names in 31.21, 33.8, 44.17, 45. 5. I can see no reason for taking them in the Gāthās as anything more than blessings given to man by Ahura. In 34.11 BGA sees them as celestial food and drink. They occur together
