This article focuses on the positive aspects of incorporating new technologies into crafts, particularly in mitigating economic, environmental, and social challenges. It examines the significance of new technologies for sustainable development in the non-artistic crafts sector, drawing on the results of a survey conducted among students of vocational schools in the first and second cycles in the Opole Voivodeship (Poland). Young people struggle to define the types of responsibility associated with new technologies. A lack of significant correlation was found between family craft traditions, career plans, and the perception of new technologies in the context of environmental and social responsibility. At the same time, a correlation was confirmed between these traditions and career plans, as well as the association of new technologies with economic responsibility.
