The article begins with a definition of the problematic situation. The aim of the article is to analyze the structure of the command system from an allied and national perspective in the context of readiness to operate on the modern battlefield. The article discusses the characteristics of the air defense system, the current status of the air defense system and the air force. Directions for further development and technical modernization for the needs of the current battlefield were analyzed and indicated. The adopted hypothesis assumes that a modern air defense system, meeting the requirements of the contemporary battlefield, requires the latest solutions for detecting and neutralizing air targets. The summary states that the aim of the article was achieved and the hypothesis was positively verified.
