The objective of this article was to determine the relationship between human talent management and job performance in the Faculty of Administration and Tourism at UNASAM, Ancash, 2024. The method employed was descriptive with a correlational scope; the study was applied research, and the design was non-experimental, based on the non-manipulation of variables. Likewise, the study followed a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 36 faculty members from the Universidad Nacional Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo, of whom 11 belonged to the Tourism program and 25 to the Administration program. The instrument used comprised 10 items for the human talent management variable and 9 items for the job performance variable. Validation was conducted through expert judgment, and reliability was measured using Cronbach’s alpha, which yielded a coefficient of 0.85, indicating high reliability of the instruments employed. The main findings revealed that knowledge, skills, judgment, and attitude are significantly correlated with job performance. The research objective was achieved, indicating the existence of an effective and relevant but low relationship (rho = 0.474), which implies a direct association between the constructs within the educational system in Peru.
