Inflection is an open-access platform engineering assessment tool that measures the readiness of software delivery platforms to host and operate autonomous software agents. It introduces the Agentic Developer Platform (ADP) Maturity Model: a seven-dimensional, four-level framework that quantifies the distance between a human-operated Internal Developer Platform (IDP) and a fully autonomous, agent-native platform. The framework evaluates seven independent dimensions: Documentation & Context, API & Tooling Consistency, CI/CD & Automation, Observability & Monitoring, Safety & Governance, Security & Zero Trust, and FinOps & Cost Efficiency. Each dimension is scored via three Likert-scale questions (21 questions total, approximately 7 minutes). This paper describes the mathematical scoring model, score normalization and level-assignment algorithms, the floor-first roadmap prioritization algorithm, community benchmarking and peer percentile calculation, system data architecture, and the security guardrail philosophy embedded in the platform, including Zero Trust workload identity (SPIFFE/SPIRE) and post-quantum cryptography readiness as first-class measurable dimensions.
