Abstract This paper constructs an intersemiotic translation model based on Charles Sanders Peirce’s semiotics. The model incorporates semiosis, object (immediate and dynamic), interpretant (immediate, dynamic and final), scientific reasoning (induction, deduction, abduction), and ten classes of signs. It aims to demonstrate that semiosis serves as the inherent mechanism of translation . The process of semiosis generates a hierarchy of meanings through sign growth, which aligns with Peircean fallibilism and synechism.
