This study aimed to examine the structural relationship between leisure function, physical self-efficacy and psychological happiness among elderly participating in leisure sports. To achieve the objectives of this study, 211 valid questionnaires collected from older adults attending leisure and welfare facilities as well as sports centers in Seoul and Jeonbuk Province were analyzed. Statistical analyses were conducted using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 18.0. The analyses included frequency, reliability, and correlation analyses, followed by confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. The research findings are as follows. First, leisure function positively predicted physical self-efficacy. Second, physical self-efficacy positively predicted psychological happiness. Third, leisure function positively predicted psychological happiness. Fourth, physical self-efficacy partially mediated the relationship between leisure function and psychological happiness.
