This article discusses the pedagogical foundations, innovative methods, and practical opportunities for developing ecological thinking in primary school students based on the STEAM approach. The study analyzes issues related to developing conscious attitudes toward nature, understanding environmental problems, and forming environmental protection skills. In addition, the effectiveness of lessons organized through the integration of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics was examined. The research results show that the STEAM approach enhances students’ creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and practical activities in developing ecological awareness.
