Novel Preisach-type models of hysteresis are introduced. Their distinctive feature is their ability to describe dynamic properties of hysteresis nonlinearities. The identification problem of fitting dynamic Preisach models to experimental data is discussed. Some recommendations concerning numerical implementation of these models are given.>
