Objective: This study aimed to evaluate scientific output on miniscrew-assisted orthodontic-surgical techniques between 2005 and 2025 and to identify publication trends, leading contributors, influential sources, thematic domains, and collaboration patterns. Material and Methods: A bibliometric study was conducted using Scopus records retrieved on June 1, 2025. The search combined terms related to miniscrews, temporary anchorage devices, skeletal anchorage, surgical procedures, corticotomy, and miniscrew-assisted rapid palatal expansion. Original articles and reviews published in English from January 1, 2005, to May 31, 2025, were included. Editorials, conference abstracts, letters, short communications, non-peer-reviewed records, and thematically irrelevant publications were excluded. Bibliographic metadata were exported and analyzed using performance indicators, co-authorship mapping, country and institutional productivity analysis, citation analysis, and keyword co-occurrence networks. Results: The initial search yielded 468 records, and 412 publications met the inclusion criteria. Of these, 342 were original articles and 70 were reviews. Publication output increased after 2012 and reached its highest level in 2023. South Korea, the United States, China, Türkiye, and Brazil were the most productive countries. Keyword mapping showed dominant themes related to orthodontic anchorage procedures, palatal expansion technique, miniscrewassisted rapid palatal expansion, corticotomy, accelerated tooth movement, and clinical outcomes. Co-authorship analysis indicated dense regional collaboration networks with fewer international bridging authors. Conclusion: Miniscrew-assisted orthodontic-surgical research has expanded considerably over the past two decades. The field is mainly shaped by anchorage biomechanics, MARPE protocols, corticotomy, and surgically facilitated acceleration. Future studies should strengthen methodological standardization, long-term outcome assessment, and patient-centered evidence.
