This article examines the role of industrial enterprises in the economic development of the Bukhara region of Uzbekistan. The study analyzes the region’s economic structure, industrial potential, and the significance of key industrial sectors such as oil and gas, chemical production, construction materials, and textiles. Particular attention is paid to the impact of industrial growth on gross regional product, employment, export potential, and investment attractiveness. The paper also explores recent economic reforms aimed at industrial modernization, diversification of production, and the introduction of innovative technologies. In addition, the study highlights the importance of industrial zones, foreign investments, and export-oriented production in strengthening regional economic stability. Existing challenges, including outdated technologies, energy supply issues, and logistics problems, are also discussed. The article concludes that the sustainable development of industry and the expansion of high value-added production are essential for ensuring the long-term socio-economic growth of the Bukhara region.
