Presents a decentralized control law for robust stabilization applied to interconnected multimachine power systems within the framework of linear matrix inequalities (LMI). The systems are composed of a linear constant part perturbed by an additive nonlinearity which is illustrated in the interconnections. The LMI methods are used to maximize the domain of uncertainty which leave the overall system connectively stable.
