Prurigo nodularis (PN) most commonly affects adults, although it also arises in children. However, the body of published data on PN in children is sparse. By utilizing national Finnish registry data we found an incidence of PN among those under 15 years of age being 1.99 per million. Over three-quarters of them had preceding dermatological condition, with atopic dermatitis being most common.
