A year-long study was conducted involving 5 fifth-grade students with learning disabilities with written language deficits from a parochial elementary school in the midwestern United States using a specially designed computer program as a writing tool to assist them in a weekly based writing curriculum. The study showed positive effects on the participating students’ writing behaviors and their written products.
