Calculations are given for the frequency moments associated with the dipolar broadening of magnetic resonance lines in crystals having lattice points populated at random by identical paramagnetic ions or nuclei. It is found that for fractional magnetic population f>0. 1 the line shape is approximately Gaussian with a width proportional to f^1{2}; for f<0. 01 the line shape is approximately Lorentzian with a width proportional to f.
