Equity has been my abiding passion throughout my diplomatic career — including equity between nations, within nations, human rights, and environmental rights. Debate on AI, including its possible positive and negative outcomes, revolves around ethical issues, while AI itself rests on a technical, mathematical, and neural framework. How to bridge the two? The rise of AI capabilities has been largely driven by Large Language Models, which in turn depend on the Transformer equation. Hence my concept in this paper is to introduce social conscience directly into that equation. I used Claude (Anthropic) in developing this framework.
