With the rapid development of information technology, various issues with information security are increasingly emerging in the whole process of the engineering bidding. The eruption of information leaks, data tampering, network attacks, etc., have had severe impacts on the fairness and transparency of bidding. Thus, this paper proposes a promising information security technology, based on IDCISP and dedicated to designing project-bidding information systems with security and data protection capabilities. This research begins by analyzing the security needs of the project bidding process, followed by designing the system architecture for incorporating the IDCISP protocol, implementing security measures such as data encryption, identity authentication, and access control, and building the system to establish the database and implement the user interface using Python and MySQL. Finally, real-time testing is developed in a simulated environment. Experimental results indicate that in the scenario of 500 users and concurrent demand, the information leakage rate is less than 0.01% and the detection rate of data tampering was higher than 99.5%. The conclusion presents that the information security technology based on IDCISP substantially improves the security and reliability of the bidding information systems and strongly technically supports engineering bidding for improved safety.
