The application of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) for children education in elementary school is a form of educational revolution that integrates various fields of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics in the learning activities process. The STEAM approach supports the development of students' scientific inquiry with the ability to design processes for how tools can be work. Teacher's and student books of Curriculum 2013 for 5th grade of elementary school learning was analysed by descriptive qualitative methods. The object of the research is the curriculum 2013 for 5th grade of elementary school. The data collection technique used documentation analysis, while the data analysis was carried out using the Milles and Huberman (1) model which included data collection, data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing/ verification. The results showed that the use of the Teacher's and student books of Curriculum 2013 for 5th grade of elementary school in learning provided opportunities for students to explore, analyse, and create. Student's practice and develop materials in learning activities so that are able to think critically in problem solving, collaborate and have leadership spirit, have dexterity and adaptability, initiative and entrepreneurial spirit, communicate effectively both orally and in writing, access and analyse information, have curiosity and imagination, and also have productivity and accountability, as well as being able to innovate.
