ABSTRACT This case details a neonate with unilateral forearm ulceration and motor weakness diagnosed with neonatal limb compartment syndrome (NLCS) following interdisciplinary collaboration. NLCS is a rare cause of congenital extremity ulceration. Due to low clinical suspicion, it is easily misdiagnosed, leading to delayed treatment and preventable complications including motor deficits, or in severe cases, amputation. NLCS is sparsely recognized in dermatologic literature, although dermatologists may be the first point of contact as consultants.
