So, quantum mechanics is relatively new. We are living the first steps of it,understanding how it works. We can create microchips. To print a microchip,we use quantum-coherent light (a blue laser). For people communication, weuse lasers connected to fibre optics. Scientists use atomic clocks with quantumlevels to measure time with incredible precision; they put them in orbit. Hence,satellites send us signals, and we have developed the GPS (Global PositioningSystem). Despite being a new science, we have made many advances for humanity.Nowadays, we are focusing on ways to control particles. Still, insteadof controlling a few quantum properties of these particles, we are going to havecontrol over many particles at the same time as being able to control collectivequantum phenomena and with it, we are creating computers based on quantumparticles where we will be able to manipulate their quantum properties one byone to make for us calculations faster than ever before, here it is, the QuantumRiot.
