Results of the assessment of the level of radionuclide contamination and absorbed dose rate in fish of the Chernobyl exclusion zone in 2010-2018 are given in the paper. During the period of investigations, the content of 137Cs in representatives of the fish fauna of the enclosed water bodies continued to decrease, whereas the specific activity of 90Sr remained unchanged or increased. The modified approach based on the use of the "ER1CA Assessment Tool" software, which takes into account migration activity of fish and heterogeneous pattern of radionuclide contamination of bottom sediments in a water body was used in assessing radiation dose in fish. The maximal annual radiation dose (to 1.2 gr) was registered in fish occurring in the near-bottom layer of water. The specific activity of 90Sr and 137Cs in fish of the enclosed water bodies was dozens and thousands times higher than their limiting permissible concentration in fish of Ukraine.
