The design of the circulation is a method of organizing the exhibition space with the audience as the center, and it is a comprehensive issue concerning the overall layout structure of the exhibition. The design of the circulation plays an important role in the dissemination of exhibition information, traffic guidance, and audience service. There are many museums in China that are situated in gardens or courtyards, and the exhibition space is significantly constrained by the architetural layout. Therefore, when planning and implementing exhibitions in garden courtyard spaces, it is important to focus on eliminating spatial limitations through circulation design. This article takes two temporary exhibitions at Yuyan Academy, a cultural relic protection unit in Guangdong Province, as a case study to analyze how to organize and implement exhibitions in garden and courtyard exhibition spaces by planning spatial loop. It explores how to create an exhibition space that allows the audience to explore freely through flexible and varied spatial loop design, and further summarizes the impact and value of spatial loop.
