Magnetometer survey with a cart-mounted array of Bartington Grad-01-1000L fluxgate gradiometers. The survey detected a series of ditches and pits covering c3ha in the northeast of the area, indicating a portion of settlement of suspected Iron Age date. Further enclosures and trackways, and limited evidence for gravel extraction pits, were detected in the west, to the south of Kingston Pastures Farm, and a few isolated ditches were detected elsewhere. Widespread medieval to early post-medieval ridge and furrow, and groups of relatively modern field drains, were also detected.
