The world pandemic we experienced in 2020 and in the context of accelerated digital transformation, Moroccan universities had to switch to online learning. This drastic switch raised a lot of concerns about the quality of education that students will receive through their screens instead. The goal of this research is to explore different aspects of online learning quality and how students perceive this new form of learning. To do so, we conducted a quantitative study with approximately 390 students enrolled in various faculties at Mohammed V University in Rabat. Through the survey, which covers several dimensions of online education quality, such as overall assessment of teaching, pedagogical support, course organization, and use of digital platforms, we have collected the proper data and analyzed it using SPSS Statistics software, using the chi-square test and Cramer’s V index to measure the relationship between the pre-set variables. The results we found show a significant correlation between student satisfaction and certain key factors of the educational quality. Specifically, the study revealed a moderate to strong correlation between distance courses and the level of satisfaction, and between pedagogical support and overall appreciation of the training. Our study highlights the need for continuous pedagogical supervision and for making intuitive content motivate students. Furthermore, it’ll push universities to improve their online services and courses by using strong tools like clarity, educational interaction and access to digital resources.
