ABSTRACT This article examines the evolving role of organizational leadership amidst the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI). It explores a broadly experienced and documented crisis in leadership, due in part to the disruptive nature of AI and emerging technology. While technology is not value‐neutral, the challenges it poses are not inherently technological but fundamentally ethical and leadership‐driven; its impacts on an organization can be shaped by leadership strategies. Effective leaders can use these powerful tools to cultivate trust and build organizational capacity for human flourishing. Using the profound leadership model, this article offers strategies for overcoming the current leadership crisis using AI. By integrating AI responsibly, leaders empower their organizations, equipping them to navigate the complexities of the modern workforce and society.
