Abstract

Koha OPAC Customization enhances the Online Public Access Catalogue by transforming its default interface into a modern, user-friendly, and visually appealing library portal. Using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript through Koha's built-in customization tools, features such as a branded header, navigation panels, welcome popup, book carousel, digital resource links, featured collections, statistics cards, interactive forms, and customized footer can be added without modifying core system files. Additional CSS and JavaScript improve styling, search functionality, and user interaction. These customizations provide a responsive, accessible, and engaging experience while ensuring compatibility with future Koha upgrades and simplifying maintenance.
