Sean P. Pinney, MD, is Professor of Medicine (Cardiology), the Philip J. and Harriet L. Goodhart Chair of Cardiology, and Associate Director of the Cardiovascular Clinical Institute at Mount Sinai Morningside. He directs the Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant Program and has led clinical trials in heart failure, cardiac transplantation, and mechanical circulatory support. He previously served in leadership roles at the University of Chicago Medicine from 2020 to 2023 and at Mount Sinai from 2004 to 2020.
