Massimo Chiariello

Massimo Chiariello served as a professor and chief of cardiology at the University of Naples Federico II in Naples, Italy. He completed a fellowship in cardiology at Harvard and the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital, working on strategies for reducing myocardial infarct size. He was the past president of the Italian Society of Cardiology and authored over 500 scientific papers before his death in 2010.
