Francesca Stillitano

Francesca Stillitano is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Experimental Cardiology at University Medical Center Utrecht, where she leads a research lab focused on modeling inherited cardiac diseases using iPSCs, animal models, and gene-editing approaches. She previously worked at the Cardiovascular Research Institute at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, developing patient-derived stem cell programs and humanized mouse models for cardiomyopathy. She has published over 40 peer-reviewed papers on topics including cardiac electrical remodeling and gene therapy.
