Afro-Linguistics and the Structured Study of African Languages in South Africa: A Review

Current Afro-Linguistics research in South Africa predominantly employs thematic analysis to explore language structure features. Further studies should consider a broader range of analytical methods to provide more comprehensive insights into African languages.
