Monitoring systems are necessary in buildings to monitor the working environment. This paper describes the development of a wireless monitoring system which can be deployed in a building. The system measures carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and temperature. The system developed in this paper can serve as the monitoring component of a HVAC control system and function as an indoor air quality monitor independently.
