Benefits of Informed Consent Application of Principles For Patients. All Indonesian citizen deserves to have good quality of health care. In carrying out health services in Indonesia , the physician should apply the principle of informed consent by the Minister of Health Regulation 290/Menkes/Per/III/2008 of Medical Measures Agreement. The principle of informed consent is the rights of patients in health care based on the basic rights of the individual. Basic rights of the individual is what translates into a patient's right to their own bodies , namely the right to determine what medical treatment is approved or desired by the patient. The principle of informed consent because patients can protect themselves by applying the principle of informed consent of patients already know in advance what kind of care is carried out against him. The principle of informed consent entitles the patient to determine the medical treatment or choose what is best for him or patients that determine the "fate" of her own based on the information given by the doctor
