Nurses' attitudes towards factors determining the safety of patients treated in intensive care units: A cross‐sectional study

The goal of health care systems is to ensure high quality of medical services provided, including patient safety. The intensive care unit (ICU) is an environment conducive to the occurrence of adverse events and medical errors because of the complexity of the care provided, the severity of the conditions of patients treated in these units and work often performed under stressful conditions.
