The paper is about the detection of hevea tree leaf disease detection. Phytophthora sp. caused the abnormal leaf fall (ALF) disease; Oidium heveae caused powdery mildew (PM); Colletotrichum spp. caused colletotrichum leaf spot (CLS), and Corynespora cassiicola caused corynespora leaf fall (CLF) were the diseases that were frequently found in hevea trees. According to the study, ALF, PM, and CLS were present in almost all of the plantations surveyed, although CLF was less common in mountainous locations. CLS and CLF were reported in Subramanya, Puttur, Belthangady, Kundapura, and Sullia, exacerbating the devastation. Numerous foliar diseases are known to cause considerable yield losses in rubber trees. As of right now, numerous rubber plantations in nations that produce rubber are being impacted by a new, severe leaf disease epidemic that is being classified as Pestalotiopsis secondary leaf fall. In addition to Fusicoccum leaf blight and Phytophthora abnormal leaf fall, these leaf diseases also include secondary leaf falls of Oidium, Colletotrichum, and Corynespora. With an emphasis on the pathogens responsible, the symptoms, and the impact on rubber plantations, this paper provides an overview of the major leaf diseases and the recent epidemic. To try to minimize or even completely avoid latex yield losses, the information provided would help organize and launch improved control measures for rubber-growing regions.
