Using a solid mixed-methods strategy, this study investigates the complex world of financial risk management in India's banking industry. It evaluates the effectiveness of risk reduction tactics by using quantitative analysis, cases, and interviews with experts in the field. It is essential to have individualized risk management frameworks, as the results show that banks have different risk profiles. A number of effective methods are highlighted in case studies. These methods include proactive hedging techniques, real-time monitoring systems, and integrated risk frameworks. Findings from the interviews highlight difficulties such as meeting regulatory requirements and the critical role that technology plays.
