Many countries in the world have organized pre-school feeding program through parents, religious institutions and women groups with an aim of maintaining and increasing both academic achievement and enrolment of pupils in Pre-schools. However, this has never fully succeeded in Suna East Sub-County, Migori County, Kenya. Statistics indicate that the dropout rate of enrolled preschool children increased as follows; 20% in 2017, 23% in 2018 and 25% in 2019. This has been accompanied by poor academic performance of pre-school children. Factors leading to this situation have not been established yet hence the need to establish challenges faced in feeding program and its influence on both academic achievement and enrolment of preschool children. The study was based on descriptive survey research design. It consisted of one (1) Sub-County Program Officer, 78 Head teachers’ and 156 preschool teachers.
