The results of diffusion alloying from a medium of low - melting liquid metal solutions (DALLS) of St3, 40X, 40X13 steels in a Pb-Li eutectic medium with the addition of Ni and Cu are presented. It has been revealed that coatings with a thickness from 16 to 20 microns were formed as a result of the DALLS. The maximum coating thickness was observed on St3 steel and was 20 microns. On 40X steel, the coating thickness was 17 microns. On 40X13 steel, the coating thickness was 16 microns. Structurally, the coatings consisted of surface and transition layers. The content of alloying elements in the coatings also depended on the coated material. On 40X13 steel, the maximum nickel concentration was 46% and the copper concentration was 13%. On 40X steel the maximum concentration of nickel was 44%, copper - 11%. On St3 steel, the maximum concentration of nickel was 40%, copper - 9%. In all cases, the diffusion depth of nickel exceeded the one of copper. The microhardness of the coatings at a depth of 5 microns for St3 was 125 HV0,02, for 40X - 130 HV0,02, for steel 40X13 - 140-130 HV0,02.
