This review examines “Sufis and Their Lodges in the Ottoman Ḥijāz” which is a collection of three Arabic treatises, by Ḥasan b. ‘Alī al-‘Uǧaymī, concerning the Sufi activities in the pre-Wahhābi Hijaz.
