Marie Curie, a visionary scientist whose research and discoveries transformed our understanding of radioactivity, is a potent representation of global feminism in science. This paper aims to study about the life of Marie Curie, her remarkable individuality, feminism and crisis in the lives of women in science as described in Vinod Kumar Mishra’s biographical book “The Life and Times of Marie Curie”. This study delves into Curie’s life, examining how her breakthrough achievements broke down boundaries, questioned conventional standards, and ultimately motivated women to seek careers in science worldwide. She challenged the commonly held beliefs about women’s talents, paving the way for future generations of female scientists and professions. Vinod Kumar Mishra in his biographical book examines Curie’s struggles and accomplishments and enables us to acquire a better understanding of her contribution to gender equality in science. She became the role model for women in the male-dominated society, inspiring generations of female scientists.
