Abstract Foresters have so long been forest-production minded that they have failed to realize that forest utilization is the key to forest production. The author believes that since we are still in a utilization stage we should give utilization problems more thought and study to make it more profitable and free from waste. He assembles with this brief paper a few notes on each of a number of new products using wood as a raw material.
