The second EOSC EDEN webinar, held on 27 January 2026, presented results from the project's ongoing work on the identification of requirements and needs for long-term data preservation within and across scientific disciplines and data types. Exemplifying by using data and user journeys gathered in the first year of the project, the webinar paid particular attention to the strategies and tools employed in this task. The webinar continued EOSC EDEN’s dissemination series, aimed at sharing results and fostering dialogue on advancing digital preservation practices across Europe. During the session, the project team presented the rationale and scope of the EOSC EDEN project, Work package 3 "Discipline-specific Requirements, Validation and Future Use", and the seven early-adopter disciplines represented in the project. More information about the results and methods employed in WP3 is available in the EOSC EDEN Zenodo Community. The webinar was tailored for those who wish to enhance their knowledge about user needs and pain points, from a discipline-specific point of view. It was further tailored to enable those who wish to improve their repository practice, to reuse, build on and/or offer feedback on the work of EOSC EDEN.
