Learning outcomes Case overview/synopsis The protagonist of the case study is Dr Gayatri Narasimhan, whose daughter’s voluntary work with a special needs student inspired her to become an enthusiastic supporter of neurodiversity after the family moved to Muscat, Oman in 2009. Dr Narasimhan then committed herself to fostering inclusive environments for neurodivergent people. By implementing cutting-edge programmes and initiatives targeted at empowering neurodivergent youngsters in her role as head of Prakramika Vocational Institute, she made a major contribution to the advancement of diversity, equity and inclusion in both employment and education. She has generated a positive mindset in the community and changed the lives of several neurodivergent people with her innovative leadership and unrelenting dedication.
