Cognitive dysfunction is a frequent and debilitating symptom in brain tumor patients, arising from tumor burden, treatment effects, and disruption of brain networks. Gold-standard neuropsychological assessments provide detailed evaluation but are impractical for routine perioperative care due to length and resource requirements. This systematic review evaluates brief, bedside-compatible, or app-based cognitive screening tools used pre- and post-operatively in adult brain tumor patients, assessing their feasibility, diagnostic accuracy, and clinical utility for longitudinal monitoring.
