Rural communities in Kigali, Rwanda, have a high prevalence of HIV/AIDS despite limited access to comprehensive healthcare services. A mixed-methods approach including surveys and focus group discussions were conducted among participants and stakeholders. Community engagement was high, with a participation rate of 75% in screening programmes. However, logistical support needs improvement to ensure consistent service delivery. The community-based HIV/AIDS screening programme significantly increased awareness but required additional resources for sustaining the initiative. Strengthen logistics and provide ongoing training to health workers to maintain high participation rates and quality of care. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
