This article examines important resources that focus on the Soviet Mennonite Holodomor experience in North American archives. Although these resources are limited, they do provide important perspectives on the Holodomor that are not available in Ukrainian archives. The paper also outlines why Mennonites were the targets of anti-German hostility during the Holodomor—something which non-German ethnic groups did not experience. Finally, the paper analyzes promising areas of future research related to the Mennonite experience during the 1932–33 famine in Ukraine.
