The introduction of mental health support services in conflict-affected districts of South Sudan aims to improve community mental health outcomes. A mixed-methods approach combining quantitative surveys with qualitative interviews was employed to assess changes in community mental health outcomes post-service introduction. Service utilization increased by an average of 30% among the surveyed population, indicating a positive response to support services. However, further analysis is required to determine long-term effects and potential barriers to sustained use. The service introduction has shown promise in improving mental health outcomes but requires continued evaluation and adaptation for broader impact. Further research should be conducted to identify sustainable strategies for maintaining support services and addressing identified challenges.
