This paper explores the hypothesis that planetary interiors and surroundingplasma environments may form large-scale electromagnetic resonators. Using basicphysical parameters of the Earth system, the study examines possible resonantinteractions between the planetary interior, the atmosphere, and the magnetospherewithin the framework of magnetohydrodynamics. The work discusses how suchresonances may contribute to naturally occurring electromagnetic spectra, includingextremely low frequency (ELF) oscillations observed in the Earth–ionosphere cavity. The proposed perspective connects planetary-scale oscillations with broader physicalmechanisms governing conductive fluids and plasma systems. The aim of the studyis to outline a conceptual framework that may support further investigation ofplanetary resonant phenomena.
