Open data initiatives have gained traction globally as a means to enhance transparency and accountability in governance. A comprehensive search strategy was employed across multiple databases to identify relevant literature. Studies were selected based on predefined inclusion criteria. Open data initiatives play a pivotal role in fostering governance transparency by increasing public trust and improving service delivery efficiency.
