— Pneumonia is a major cause of mortality world wild, requiring timely and accurate diagnosis. After the COVID-19 this viral infection has been spread fastly. Chest radiography (X-ray imaging) is most commonly used and cost effective and manual diagnosis can be time consuming. This survey shows an automated pneumonia detection system using deep learning technique. The proposed system uses convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to extract features from X-ray images and categorise them into a defined dataset. This model is trained and evaluated publically with pre-processing steps like image normalization, augmentation and noise reduction to upgrade performance. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed model achieves high accuracy, sensitivity, and outperforming traditional machine learning approach. This system aims to assist medical professionals by providing reliable, efficient diagnostic tool. This study highlights the artificial intelligence in medical imaging for improving early detection and decision-making in pneumonia diagnosis. This method can effectively detect and predict the presence of COVID-19, bacterial pneumonia and viral pneumonia.
